I have been in every kind of therapy for pretty much my entire life, and nothing has resulted in the amount of growth I found from Amanda’s program. It is one thing to talk about your problems with a therapist or psychiatrist, it is another to address how to actually fix them, and it is an entirely different level to acknowledge that you have to work on the physical/energy side of things as well. Mind you, this is coming from somebody that saw energies and such as complete bogus. Seeing is believing though! If you are on the fence about the program, just freaking do it!
Amanda is the real deal. She doesn't come from a place of speaking in self-help sound bites and she doesn't come across as a Self-Help guide. She's a real person, unafraid to share her story and her experiences without sugar-coating them. She still struggles, she still has annoyances in her life - she is not someone who has perfected life - she's someone with great, sensitive insight and great analogies and useful tools for someone to work towards facing and dealing with their issues.
She may not know why something she's tried has worked or why it may work for you, yet she is happy to offer up something for you to try to see how it might positively affect you and your particular issue.
I felt that she held me accountable to showing up and doing the work. Not that my use of the words "tool" or "work" means that any of my time with her was drudgery. It was enlightening, even on the days when I would have rather done anything than talk about myself.
I love her combination of coaching and healing. It worked for me and I think anyone open to it or even curious about it would benefit from booking time with her.
This should be far more than a side hustle for you. You have so much to offer, and you help people achieve real change that most people simply can’t find in typical therapy environments. This has truly been a life-changing experience and I’m sure it will only compound as I start to go back through our previous sessions.
The non-wavering sincere positivity - in a true, deep sense - not in a performative sense - that you displayed in every session made potentially uncomfortable moments easier to get through. I think that it comes from such a naturally affirming place that, even if someone had doubts about this type of work, they would be won over by how good you are at it.
Since beginning this work I am so fucking chill… and I stand by Reiki is literal magic. I was an absolute mess when we started the program, and my circumstances have not changed one bit, but I have found peace in the circumstances. I always thought I had to change the situation before I could find peace but it’s the exact opposite.
Working with Amanda is fantastic! She has so much wisdom, which she uses to gently encourage and guide you. She helps you to find your own answers and reminds you of things you may have long since forgotten. I fully recommend her as a coach.
It turns out Self-care is not a luxury, it’s a bare minimum requirement to function as a human being. I have learned that sometimes I just need to take the afternoon just because I am feeling a little more tired than usual and that is OK… Turns out the world doesn’t explode when you take a little time for yourself.
I never realized that we hold so much fucking trauma in our bodies and until we get it out we simply can’t get rid of the symptoms.
The reiki was amazing - helped me more than I would have ever thought. I’ve gained increasing confidence in myself and my anxiety has lessened.
If you are thinking about taking the leap and working with Amanda, do it. Do it for YOU. Every version of yourself gone by and every version of yourself to come will thank you. You deserve to love yourself the way you love others.
The biggest takeaways from this experience have been reconnecting with my inner child and learning to trust myself. I spent so many years in survival mode, worrying about others and people pleasing, that I had become completely disconnected from myself and had forgotten how to even hear my own intuition. I knew things felt wrong but I could not put my finger on why until I started learning how to slow down and listen to what my body was saying.
Self-talk is an important part of my self care. It was good to learn how to do this properly. I’m definitely more confident now. The work we did together has put me firmly back on track with my goals and dreams.
I have transitioned from self-harm to self-love, I am laying out stronger boundaries than ever before, and I am letting go of people who choose not to meet me where I am.
The biggest changes I’ve noticed in myself are those associated with self-respect. I am speaking far more kindly to myself, setting boundaries with others, and regularly practicing self-care.
I would highly recommend working with Amanda to anyone who is ready to do the work. She is funny, down to earth and compassionate but will also challenge you more than any therapist I've ever worked with. The results speak for themselves.
I met Amanda through a workshop she gave at the local library. I was so impressed that I joined her email list (and I hate email lists!). Her attitude and energy inspired me, and I continued to participate in some small group sessions that she offered. After about a year, I took the leap and signed up for personal coaching. Well worth it!
Throughout this work together, Amanda helped me focus on self care, listening to my intuition and learning to trust myself again. I learned to stop spreading myself too thin, to give myself permission to rest where it’s okay if I just “rot” and do nothing at all, and to be more gentle with myself. I’ve started to nurture my inner child and allow play. I’ve also discovered certain personal requirements, such as the need to be out in nature regularly. Most importantly, I’ve learned to keep checking in with myself. I am number one. I can balance my desire to care for others with the desire to care for myself too. It feels good to reconnect with myself, and I’m looking forward to a freer me going forward.
Amanda helped me to realize I am in control of everything. I have the power to make the changes I want in my life. Every day can be a new start.
This work has changed my mindset overall. I've done a lot of these things before but never stuck to them or believed that they were truly making a difference until now.
Amanda's knowledge and personal experience with eating disorders and body image issues brings an authenticity that makes her coaching more personal and relatable. Her sense of humor is fantastic as well and helps in all aspects of coaching.

This session was amazing. I felt so cozy the entire time, and just tingly and awesome. The download you got about my creativity really hit, as well as the tree reflection. Also, the card you pulled is something I’ve been reflecting on all day, noting how it pairs with the direction/car download. What I’m taking away is that I simply need to choose a direction and move forward, funneling my creativity there. I will get more clarity on the path as I get moving. So supportive and it feels super clear!

This was the first Reiki session I've ever had and it was incredible. I definitely felt something during the session as I started to cry about a third of the way through. My legs and hands got very cold, which was a little weird seeing that I had a light blanket over me and the space I was in was not cold. I didn't know what to expect from the "afterburn" but while I was in therapy the following day...a memory, more like a detail of a memory, hit me hard! Your Brightest Self is a phenomenal program smartly designed for anyone who is ready to get out of a slump! We all tend to put others before ourselves and end up depleted of our natural energy and optimism. This program helped me put myself back at the top of the priority list! I learned about changing my perspective, looking for small joys in each day and caring about myself as I would a loved one. I can say that I’m more confident in myself now than I ever have been in life. I would highly recommend this program for both its straightforward content and the incredible positive energy that Amanda brings to all interactions. She’s the best!
When I started this program I was a skeptic. I thought self care only meant pedicures and massages. What I learned is self care can be anything that you do for yourself that makes your life better/easier. I also learned it is okay to be who I am now. To let go of the past and the expectations of what I should do or used to do. Maybe I don't enjoy certain things anymore and that is ok. I can find enjoyment in other things. Amanda has changed my outlook on self care. I also feel more confident to handle whatever comes next while taking care of myself and my family.
At the beginning of joining this program; I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. I am grateful to have had this opportunity and am consistently learning new things each week; both about myself and about self-care and the importance and value it can bring to my every day life. The journal prompts have helped me to think things through in a different way and uncover certain things I haven’t necessarily thought of on my own. The calls and group chat are incredibly helpful in gaining other perspectives and helping with accountability.
I love the way you turn the perception of self care being selfish on its side. I’ve learned a lot more about trusting my gut and allowing myself to set better boundaries.
I’m now putting myself at/near the top of the priorities list, and asking what I need in this moment or how does that feel in my body? It’s been so helpful in getting to know myself better and I think it’s really going to help me make better life decisions going forward. It’s also bringing more internal peace to my life.
I learned that self care isn’t just about being nice to yourself or pampering yourself. It’s about making yourself a priority and being committed to yourself, being your own best friend and supporter, and being true to who you really are.
